Home Drug Test Kits
There are a lot of different types of drug test kits. The most common ones are urine, saliva, and hair follicle. Blood tests are possible as well but for home use, it is not necessary. Out of the three main types of drug test kits, each have advantages for home use but each have disadvantages as well. No matter what the situation is that makes you need to purchase drug test kits, whether it be a parent worried about their child or their loved one or something else, you have an option to choose. You have a choice between which features are better. Each test has reasons that it is better than the other so you have to figure out which is more important.
Urine Test Kits
The urine test kits are most popular and pretty effective. The accuracy is high enough to trust and conducting the test is rather simple. Some people might not want to handle a urine sample of someone in their family though based on principal. If you don’t mind, the urine test kits are usually around $15-20 each. The results are pretty instant as well.
Hair Follicle Test Kits
Hair follicle test kits hold the highest accuracy and can be alright. Urine tests can look at about a week prior of drug use (even more for some drugs) but hair follicle tests can look at up to 90 days prior. If you want to look for a history of drug use, hair follicle tests may be better. They cost around $50-75 per kit and you may have to send the sample to a lab for testing.
Saliva Test Kits
These kits are only a dollar or two each. The accuracy is still decent and enough to rely on for personal use. The saliva test kits are only good for when you suspect the person is using drugs because saliva only carries traces of drugs for a few hours to a day in most cases.
