Taking a Saliva Sample
Saliva samples are taken by putting a swab stick in the mouth of the person being tested and placing it around the area between your gums and bottom teeth. Leaving the swab stick in place for a few minutes will absorb a good enough sample to be tested.

Saliva drug test kits are only a few dollars each so for the price you are getting a pretty good deal. Saliva drug tests are also great if you want to do them randomly and on the spot but not the best to check for drug use in the past. For most drugs, saliva only holds the traces of the drug for a few days at most.
